Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the October 2026 lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, bringing seven games to subscribers across PS5 and PS4. The latest selection includes Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk, alongside horror adventures, a role-playing game and an off-road racing title. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also receive two additions to the Classics Catalog.
Announced on October 14, the lineup is available through PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in the United States, with release dates varying by title. As of October 16, The Midnight Walk is already available, while most of the remaining Game Catalog additions are scheduled to arrive on October 20. Three games are scheduled for October 27 in the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan.
PlayStation Plus Game Catalog: October 2026 Release Dates
The October selection covers several genres, including action-adventure, cooperative shooting, survival horror, Japanese role-playing games and motorcycle racing. Here is the confirmed schedule for U.S. subscribers.
- The Midnight Walk — PS5: Available October 14. This dark fantasy adventure features handcrafted clay environments, stop-motion-style animation and a lantern companion named Potboy. The game can also be played with PlayStation VR2.
- Mafia: The Old Country — PS5: Arriving October 20. Set in early 20th-century Sicily, this third-person action-adventure follows Enzo Favara as he navigates the dangerous world of organized crime.
- Horizon Forbidden West — PS5 and PS4: Arriving October 20. Players join Aloy on a journey through a post-apocalyptic world filled with dangerous machines, new tribes and unexplained threats. The game is returning to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
- Mycopunk — PS5: Arriving October 20. This cooperative looter shooter sends a team of robotic misfits on missions against fungal alien enemies. Its features include customizable equipment, upgrade options and support for up to four players.
- Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 — PS5 and PS4: Arriving October 27. The horror adventure returns players to the abandoned Playtime Co. toy factory, where they must solve puzzles and escape dangerous toys.
- Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition — PS5 and PS4: Arriving October 27. This role-playing game combines a story about two worlds with action-based combat and a large fantasy setting.
- Monster Energy Supercross 25: The Official Video Game — PS5: Arriving October 27. The motorcycle racing game features redesigned tracks, professional riders, career progression and updated physics powered by Unreal Engine 5.
Two Classics Catalog Games Join PlayStation Plus Premium
Alongside the main Game Catalog lineup, Sony has announced two titles for the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics Catalog. Both are listed for PS5 and PS4.
Dino Crisis 2 brings players back to a prehistoric survival adventure featuring returning protagonist Regina, a new character named Dylan and encounters with multiple dinosaur species. The game shifts much of the action toward jungles, caves and other environments filled with dangerous creatures.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition offers a different experience, allowing players to build and manage their own amusement parks. Players can design attractions, manage finances, oversee staff and develop parks through career scenarios or sandbox mode.
Sony’s announcement states that the main lineup generally becomes available on October 20 unless a different date is specified. The two Classics Catalog additions follow the same general schedule. Access to these classics requires PlayStation Plus Premium in the United States.
Which PlayStation Plus Subscription Includes the Game Catalog?
The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog is included with the Extra and Premium membership tiers. PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers do not receive access to the full Game Catalog through their standard membership. The Classics Catalog is an additional benefit of the Premium tier.
Players should also distinguish these additions from the monthly games offered through PlayStation Plus Essential. The October Game Catalog announcement is a separate release schedule, with its own titles and availability dates.
